Put Away Anger

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city (Proverb 16:32).

Don't fly into rage unless you are prepared for a rough landing. Anger falls one letter short of danger. Anger is a weakness and if discovered by your enemy it will serve as a weapon to use against you. A word spoken if you are angry can be destructive. That is why most action taken at that time ends in regret. Many broken homes can be traceable to anger. Some people would not have been in the prison today if they were able to control their anger.

A Filipino advises: 'Postpone today anger until tomorrow'. Paul writes, 'Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: (Ephesians 4:26). Paul advised, 'If you are angry don't sin' and the only way for you not to sin when you are angry is for you to have self-control. How to know a man or a woman of great character is when he or she acts right if provoked. There is nowhere you can live in this world without offenses but how you react to them is what makes the difference.

He was not expected to live and became bedfast at age 15. In April 1933 during a dramatic conversion experience, he reported dying three times in 10 minutes, each time seeing the horrors of hell and then returning to life. In August 1934, Rev. Hagin was miraculously healed, raised off a deathbed by the power of God and the revelation of faith in God’s Word. Jesus appeared to Rev. Hagin eight times over the next several years in visions that changed the course of his ministry. In 1967, he began a regular radio broadcast that continues today as Rhema for Today.                               The Believer's Authority By Kenneth E Hagin In 1968 Rev. Move On

" ...: _but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward calling of God in Christ Jesus_ ". Philippians 3:13-14 The past is always going to be the way it was, so stop trying to change it. Your future contains more happiness than any past you remember. Believe strongly that the best is yet to come. Today we remember Paul more as an Apostle of Christ than a persecutor of Christians. He never had the opportunity to be with Jesus physically but he had more revelation of Him than the other Apostle that was with Jesus. He was never ashamed and went about preaching the Gospel of Christ. Each time he remembers his past, he will try to forget and move on. "... this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind..." (Philippians 3:13-14). God through Apostle Paul performs great miracles. God is very good at changing ugly situations to pleasant situations if you believe He can do...
