The option of going backward or forward wasn't a better one. Going forward meant getting drowned in the red sea, and going backward meant being captured by the Egyptian army. Amidst the challenge, Moses inquired of the Lord. Surprisingly, when God's Word came, it said, "Go forward". This is what God expects of us, to keep winning, even amidst fierce opposition. Whatever challenges we may face, God expects that we rise above them and succeed. Why? Because greater is He that is in you, than any opposition that may come your way.
