Go Forward!

"If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small" (Proverbs 24:10).

I remember the account in the Bible when the people of Israel were caught up in the middle of the road. The option of going backward or forward wasn't a better one. Going forward meant getting drowned in the red sea, and going backward meant being captured by the Egyptian army. Amidst the challenge, Moses inquired of the Lord. Surprisingly, when God's Word came, it said, "Go forward". This is what God expects of us, to keep winning, even amidst fierce opposition. Whatever challenges we may face, God expects that we rise above them and succeed. Why? Because greater is He that is in you, than any opposition that may come your way. (1 John 4:4 paraphrased)

If you are challenged, identify the problem and then take a logical approach to tackle it. Instead of complaining like the Israelites, we should be like Moses who was able to identify the problem and take the logical approach to solve it. Moses understood that the challenge was fear so he dealt with it by bringing a word of encouragement to the people, "And Moses said unto the people, fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you this day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more forever" (Exodus 14:13). He also took a logical approach by crying unto the Lord,  "And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward" (Exodus  14:15)

VALUE FOR TIME

To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Our entire life is measured by time. Your success and achievement are directly proportional to the time invested therein. To the one that is a medical doctor, for instance, it means that he has invested 5 or 6 years of his time in learning and acquiring knowledge to practice as a medical doctor. It, therefore, means that he traded time for the skill. We have a period here on earth to fulfill our purpose. It would be suicidal to attempt to waste it for we have but one life.  Helpful Topic: Motivational Quotes For Women. Try as much as you can to always engage yourself with profitable discussion, and not involve yourself with gossip. David knew the importance of understanding the value of time which made him pray to God on behalf of the people he was ruling. He prayed in this manner, Father, 'Teach us to number our days so we may apply our heart unto wisdom" (Psalm 90:12). This prayer m

Move On

" ...: _but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward calling of God in Christ Jesus_ ". Philippians 3:13-14 The past is always going to be the way it was, so stop trying to change it. Your future contains more happiness than any past you remember. Believe strongly that the best is yet to come. Today we remember Paul more as an Apostle of Christ than a persecutor of Christians. He never had the opportunity to be with Jesus physically but he had more revelation of Him than the other Apostle that was with Jesus. He was never ashamed and went about preaching the Gospel of Christ. Each time he remembers his past, he will try to forget and move on. "... this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind..." (Philippians 3:13-14). God through Apostle Paul performs great miracles. God is very good at changing ugly situations to pleasant situations if you believe He can do
