Stand Up When You Fall

'For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief' (Proverb 24:16).

The fact that you failed is proof that you're not finished. Failure and mistakes can be a bridge, not a barricade to success. The psalmist writes, 'The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and him delighteth in his way. Though he may fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him in his hand. (Psalm 37:23-24) Successful people believe that mistakes are just feedback. If you have tried to do something and failed, you are vastly better off than if you had tried to do nothing. Theodore Roosevelt said, 'Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with that poor spirit who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the great twilight that knows not victory or defeat.

The death of your dream will not happen because of a failure; its death will come from indifference and apathy. 'You don't drown by falling in the water, you drown by staying there' (Ed Cole). When you make a mistake, learn your lesson and forget about the details. 'A man who refuses to admit his mistake can never be successful. But if he confesses forsakes them, he gets another chance.' (Proverb 28:13).

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the Word you sent my way today. I thank you for not letting off your helping hands even when I didn't ask for it. Thank you, Lord, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Hagin was miraculously healed, raised off a deathbed by the power of God and the revelation of faith in God’s Word. Jesus appeared to Rev. Hagin eight times over the next several years in visions that changed the course of his ministry. In 1967, he began a regular radio broadcast that continues today as Rhema for Today.                               The Believer's Authority By Kenneth E Hagin In 1968 Rev. Think Big

. 'For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...' Proverb 23:4 Limited thinking prevents one from progressing. A man went fishing and each time he caught a big fish, he threw it back into the water and kept the smaller ones. When confronted, he said his frying pan was a small one and couldn't contain the bigger fish. He couldn't think of something else to do with the bigger fish. That is limited thinking. When a small idea gets into a big mind, it can produce enormous results, but if a great idea gets into a small mind, the idea will be reduced to the size of the mind.
