   What It Takes To Be Successful

'Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterward, build thine house' (Proverb 24:27).

Most people if they ask this question,  'What does it take to be successful?'  There will be expecting to hear a simple and straightforward answer, 'It's faith, it's prayer, it's hard work, etc'. The hard truth is that faith, prayers, and hard work alone can't make you successful. Faith, Prayers, and Hard Work are the principal but you need to add virtues if you want to be successful. And that is why the Bible says, 'And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue;...(2Peter 1:5).

They are no shortcuts, the journey to success is a hard and lonely one. They will come to a point where you have to choose whether to quit or continue, but whichever one you choose, both hurt. Jesus speaking, 'Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it (Matthew 7:14)

You need all these virtues if you have chosen the part of true success. You need Discipline, perseverance, commitment, the right attitude, strong character, good human relations, right knowledge, prudence, integrity, etc. You need all of them to be successful.
