Most people if they ask this question,  'What does it take to be successful?'  There will be expecting to hear a simple and straightforward answer, 'It's faith, it's prayer, it's hard work, etc'. The hard truth is that faith, prayers, and hard work alone can't make you successful. Faith, Prayers, and Hard Work are the principal but you need to add virtues if you want to be successful. And that is why the Bible says, 'And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue;...(2Peter 1:5).

Break Away From Consumer Mentality

An investment mentality is a way of thinking that supports thoughts and behaviors directed at achieving wealth. It compels you to automatically think about, recognize and take advantage of wealth-building opportunities. It also drives you to structure your lifestyles to preserve and continue to grow the wealth you have created. Think Through It

'A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hid: but the simple pass on, and are punished.' (Proverb 22:3) Deep thinking is essential in any matter that concerns us. When you want to start a new relationship, business, job, etc it is expected that you gather enough information and be honest with yourself if you are ready to take responsibility. You are expected to be rational, logical, and analytical in your thinking. Always be bold enough to know the negative side of the information. For example, if you want to get involved in a new business deal be bold enough to ask decisive questions. It is when you gather these facts, you think through them, then you can make decisions.
