Put Up A Fight

'Fight the good fight of faith...' (1Timothy 6:22)

The truth you have to settle with is that, if you want to win anything worthwhile you must be ready to put up a fight. I know God will do it when you do nothing to make it happen is a religious trap. You have to wake up to the truth that nothing happens by chance. For something that is in its state of rest to move a force needs to be applied not just anyhow force, but a greater force that will be able to overcome its state of rest. This is the basic law that governs the universe. This law is the same as what the Bible says in Genesis 8:22, 'While the earth remaineth, seedtime, and harvest, ...shall not cease.' What it means is that as far as this world exists it is what you put in you will get. When you put in an effort and the desired result is not seen, that means more work needs to be done for you to see your desired result.

The Bible says, '...fight a good fight of faith...' When you win a fight that means the fight was good but when you lose that means the fight was a bad one. This suggests to us that whenever we undertake any task and expect to be victories we should not neglect strategy, planning, and studying. Whenever your task is void of the aforementioned there is a high chance of failure. Jesus said, '... what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?' (Luke 14:31).

VALUE FOR TIME

To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Our entire life is measured by time. Your success and achievement are directly proportional to the time invested therein. To the one that is a medical doctor, for instance, it means that he has invested 5 or 6 years of his time in learning and acquiring knowledge to practice as a medical doctor. It, therefore, means that he traded time for the skill. We have a period here on earth to fulfill our purpose. It would be suicidal to attempt to waste it for we have but one life.  Helpful Topic: Motivational Quotes For Women. David knew the importance of understanding the value of time which made him pray to God on behalf of the people he was ruling. He prayed in this manner, Father, 'Teach us to number our days so we may apply our heart unto wisdom" (Psalm 90:12). This prayer m

Move On

" ...: _but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward calling of God in Christ Jesus_ ". Philippians 3:13-14 The past is always going to be the way it was, so stop trying to change it. Your future contains more happiness than any past you remember. Believe strongly that the best is yet to come. Today we remember Paul more as an Apostle of Christ than a persecutor of Christians. He never had the opportunity to be with Jesus physically but he had more revelation of Him than the other Apostle that was with Jesus. He was never ashamed and went about preaching the Gospel of Christ. Each time he remembers his past, he will try to forget and move on. "... this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind..." (Philippians 3:13-14). God through Apostle Paul performs great miracles. God is very good at changing ugly situations to pleasant situations if you believe He can do
