The Power Of Thought

"I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies." (Psalm 119:59)

Thought is like a seed of a plant. An orange seed for example can give birth to an orange tree with many orange fruits, which can eventually give birth to an orange orchard. William James said, " The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitude of mind". As you think, so shall you be. So flush out all old, tired, worn-out thoughts. Fill your mind with fresh, new creative thoughts of faith, love, and goodness. Through this process, you can remake your life. When you think positively, you set in motion positive forces which bring about positive results. Positive thoughts create around you an atmosphere that repels the development of negative results.

To change your circumstances, first, start thinking differently. Do not passively accept unsatisfactory circumstances, but form a picture in your mind of how things should be with you. The story of the woman with the issue of Blood in the Bible. Her circumstances changed because she held a mental picture of herself being healed if she could only touch the hem of the garment of Jesus and she moved into action despite the crowd she was able to get through. "And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. ... And the woman was made whole..." (Matthew 9:20-22)

Whatever your situation may be, you can improve it. First, quiet your mind so that you can draw inspiration from the Holy Spirit which dwells in you. Believe that God is helping you, visualize achievement and move into action and you will see your good desire coming to pass.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for my thoughts that will eventually turn into testimonies. Let your Spirit lead me to those that will help me actualize my thoughts. Let my thoughts be channeled towards the execution of your will on the earth. Thank you, Lord, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

VALUE FOR TIME

To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Our entire life is measured by time. Your success and achievement are directly proportional to the time invested therein. To the one that is a medical doctor, for instance, it means that he has invested 5 or 6 years of his time in learning and acquiring knowledge to practice as a medical doctor. It, therefore, means that he traded time for the skill. We have a period here on earth to fulfill our purpose. It would be suicidal to attempt to waste it for we have but one life.  Helpful Topic: Motivational Quotes For Women. Try as much as you can to always engage yourself with profitable discussion, and not involve yourself with gossip. David knew the importance of understanding the value of time which made him pray to God on behalf of the people he was ruling. Move On

" ...: _but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward calling of God in Christ Jesus_ ". Philippians 3:13-14 The past is always going to be the way it was, so stop trying to change it. Your future contains more happiness than any past you remember. Believe strongly that the best is yet to come. Today we remember Paul more as an Apostle of Christ than a persecutor of Christians. He never had the opportunity to be with Jesus physically but he had more revelation of Him than the other Apostle that was with Jesus. He was never ashamed and went about preaching the Gospel of Christ. Each time he remembers his past, he will try to forget and move on. "... this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind..." (Philippians 3:13-14). God through Apostle Paul performs great miracles. God is very good at changing ugly situations to pleasant situations if you believe He can do
