        A GODLY LIFESTYLE

'Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them (Matthew 7:20)

You are a member of the body of Christ which Jesus is the head. Having known this, you are expected to live a certain pattern of lifestyle. A Godly lifestyle that hates evil and loves good. 'Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is the Lord, and his laws doth he meditates day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (Psalm 1:1-3).

A godly lifestyle is different from an ungodly lifestyle. There are not in any way similar. The ungodly may go to a nightclub, but you are not to go with them because it is not your lifestyle. The ungodly may beat up the wife when there is disagreement, but you can't do such a thing, because you have been commanded by your Boss to love your wife just as He loved the church. If what you do in the private is brought to the open and is edifying: thumbs for you. It is the fruit of the Holy Spirit that distinguishes you from the ungodly not speaking tongues. 'But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance...' (Galatians 5:22-23)

VALUE FOR TIME

To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Our entire life is measured by time. Your success and achievement are directly proportional to the time invested therein. To the one that is a medical doctor, for instance, it means that he has invested 5 or 6 years of his time in learning and acquiring knowledge to practice as a medical doctor. It, therefore, means that he traded time for the skill. We have a period here on earth to fulfill our purpose. It would be suicidal to attempt to waste it for we have but one life.  Helpful Topic: Motivational Quotes For Women. Try as much as you can to always engage yourself with profitable discussion, and not involve yourself with gossip. David knew the importance of understanding the value of time which made him pray to God on behalf of the people he was ruling. He prayed in this manner, Father, 'Teach us to number our days so we may apply our heart unto wisdom" (Psalm 90:12). This prayer m

Move On

" ...: _but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward calling of God in Christ Jesus_ ". Philippians 3:13-14 The past is always going to be the way it was, so stop trying to change it. Your future contains more happiness than any past you remember. Believe strongly that the best is yet to come. Today we remember Paul more as an Apostle of Christ than a persecutor of Christians. He never had the opportunity to be with Jesus physically but he had more revelation of Him than the other Apostle that was with Jesus. He was never ashamed and went about preaching the Gospel of Christ. Each time he remembers his past, he will try to forget and move on. "... this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind..." (Philippians 3:13-14). God through Apostle Paul performs great miracles. God is very good at changing ugly situations to pleasant situations if you believe He can do
