The Power Of Prayer

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1).

Prayer Power is a manifestation of energy. Just as there exist scientific techniques for the release of atomic energy, so are there scientific procedures for the release of spiritual energy through the mechanism of prayer. The proof of this energizing force is convincingly seen.

Prayer can freshen you up every evening and send you out renewed each morning. You can receive guidance in problems if prayer is allowed to permeate your subconscious, the seat of the forces which determines whether you take right or wrong action. Prayer has the power to keep your reactions correct and sound. Prayer driven deeply into your subconscious can remake you.

There are many instances we saw in the Bible where the power of prayer was made manifest. Peter escaped from the prison dungeon when the church prayed for him. Elijah on three occasions called down a visible fire from heaven when he prayed. Jesus raised a man that was dead and buried after four days back to life when he prayed. Jesus fed five thousand men in a crusade with five loaves of bread and two fishes when he prayed. Indeed what prayer can not do is yet to exist.

You cheat yourself greatly when you don't apply this strongest and most potent force in the universe. Situations can move from bad to worse if you stop praying. Jesus said, "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: ..." (Matthew 26:41). There are chances of making mistakes, defeat, etc if you stop praying.

To Overcome Defeat Is Possible

"I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me" (Philippians 4:13) This is a fact that you must never forget some people have overcome every conceivable difficult situation even the one in which you now find yourself and which to you seems utterly hopeless. So did it seem to some others, but they found an out, a way up, a path over, a pass through. I advise you not to take the attitude that you are in a situation in which nobody has ever been before. There is no such situation. Related Topic: Belief In Yourself   The first thing to do about an obstacle is simply to stand up to it and not complain about it. Don't go crawling through life on your hands and knees half-defeated. Stand up to your obstacle and do something about them. You will find that they haven't half the strength you think they have. You can do this when you have faith, faith in God, and faith in yourself. Faith supplies staying power. It contains dynamics to keep one going when the going is h...

Move On

" ...: _but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward calling of God in Christ Jesus_ ". Philippians 3:13-14 The past is always going to be the way it was, so stop trying to change it. Your future contains more happiness than any past you remember. Believe strongly that the best is yet to come. Today we remember Paul more as an Apostle of Christ than a persecutor of Christians. He never had the opportunity to be with Jesus physically but he had more revelation of Him than the other Apostle that was with Jesus. He was never ashamed and went about preaching the Gospel of Christ. Each time he remembers his past, he will try to forget and move on. "... this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind..." (Philippians 3:13-14). God through Apostle Paul performs great miracles. God is very good at changing ugly situations to pleasant situations if you believe He can do...
