The Power Of Prayer

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1).

Prayer Power is a manifestation of energy. Just as there exist scientific techniques for the release of atomic energy, so are there scientific procedures for the release of spiritual energy through the mechanism of prayer. The proof of this energizing force is convincingly seen.

Prayer can freshen you up every evening and send you out renewed each morning. You can receive guidance in problems if prayer is allowed to permeate your subconscious, the seat of the forces which determines whether you take right or wrong action. Prayer has the power to keep your reactions correct and sound. Prayer driven deeply into your subconscious can remake you.

There are many instances we saw in the Bible where the power of prayer was made manifest. Peter escaped from the prison dungeon when the church prayed for him. Elijah on three occasions called down a visible fire from heaven when he prayed. Jesus raised a man that was dead and buried after four days back to life when he prayed. Jesus fed five thousand men in a crusade with five loaves of bread and two fishes when he prayed. Indeed what prayer can not do is yet to exist.

You cheat yourself greatly when you don't apply this strongest and most potent force in the universe. Situations can move from bad to worse if you stop praying. Jesus said, "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: ..." (Matthew 26:41). There are chances of making mistakes, defeat, etc if you stop praying.

Think Big

. 'For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he...' Proverb 23:4 Limited thinking prevents one from progressing. A man went fishing and each time he caught a big fish, he threw it back into the water and kept the smaller ones. When confronted, he said his frying pan was a small one and couldn't contain the bigger fish. He couldn't think of something else to do with the bigger fish. That is limited thinking. When a small idea gets into a big mind, it can produce enormous results, but if a great idea gets into a small mind, the idea will be reduced to the size of the mind. Kenneth E. Hagin Rev. Kenneth Erwin Hagin was born on Aug. 20, 1917, in McKinney, Texas. Rev. Hagin was sickly as a child, suffering from a deformed heart and an incurable blood disease. He was not expected to live and became bedfast at age 15. Hagin was miraculously healed, raised off a deathbed by the power of God and the revelation of faith in God’s Word. Jesus appeared to Rev. Hagin eight times over the next several years in visions that changed the course of his ministry.       Don't Relent On Your Prayers "After this manner, therefore, pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name." (Matthew 6:9) The child's mind is unwaved towards his parent. When you take your child to the school, he stays there with the faith that you will come back and pick him up after school. The child depends on and trusts his parents. If God is your Father which I trust He is, then depend and trust in Him.
