The Power Of Prayer

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Luke 18:1). Prayer Power is a manifestation of energy. Just as there exist scientific techniques for the release of atomic energy, so are there scientific procedures for the release of spiritual energy through the mechanism of prayer. The proof of this energizing force is convincingly seen. Prayer can freshen you up every evening and send you out renewed each morning. You can receive guidance in problems if prayer is allowed to permeate your subconscious, the seat of the forces which determines whether you take right or wrong action. Prayer has the power to keep your reactions correct and sound. Prayer driven deeply into your subconscious can remake you. Put Up A Fight

'Fight the good fight of faith...' (1Timothy 6:22) The truth you have to settle with is that, if you want to win anything worthwhile you must be ready to put up a fight. I know God will do it when you do nothing to make it happen is a religious trap. You have to wake up to the truth that nothing happens by chance. For something that is in its state of rest to move a force needs to be applied not just anyhow force, but a greater force that will be able to overcome its state of rest. This is the basic law that governs the universe. This law is the same as what the Bible says in Genesis 8:22, 'While the earth remaineth, seedtime, and harvest, ...shall not cease.' What it means is that as far as this world exists it is what you put in you will get. When you put in an effort and the desired result is not seen, that means more work needs to be done for you to see your desired result.  Related Topic: Belief In Yourself The Bible says, '...fight a good fight of faith ...&#

To Overcome Defeat Is Possible

"I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me" (Philippians 4:13) This is a fact that you must never forget some people have overcome every conceivable difficult situation even the one in which you now find yourself and which to you seems utterly hopeless. So did it seem to some others, but they found an out, a way up, a path over, a pass through. I advise you not to take the attitude that you are in a situation in which nobody has ever been before. There is no such situation. Related Topic: Belief In Yourself   The first thing to do about an obstacle is simply to stand up to it and not complain about it. Don't go crawling through life on your hands and knees half-defeated. Stand up to your obstacle and do something about them. You will find that they haven't half the strength you think they have. You can do this when you have faith, faith in God, and faith in yourself. Faith supplies staying power. It contains dynamics to keep one going when the going is h

Expect The Best

"For surely there is an end, and thine expectation shall not be cut off" (Proverb 23:18). Norman Vincent Peale asked a newspaper editor,  "How did you get to be the editor of this important paper? The man replied, "I wanted to be". Naturally in this process of achieving the best, it is important to know where you want to go in life. You can reach your goal, your best dreams can come true, and you can get where you want to go only if you know what your goal is. Your expectation must have a closely defined objective. Lots of people get nowhere simply because they don't know where they want to go. They have no clear-cut, precisely defined purpose. You can't expect the best if you think aimlessly.  Related Topic: Thing Big Don't let yesterday's defeat rub you off today's victory. Without reasonable confidence in yourself, you can not be successful or happy.  The Bible made it clear that having confidence in yourself has a great reward. That is to say, you stand the chance to be a loser if you lack confidence in yourself. "Cast not away, therefore, your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward" (Hebrew 10:35) Helpful Topics: Inspirational Wisdom Quotes A sense of inferiority and inadequacy interferes with the attainment of your hopes but self-confidence leads to self-realization and achievement.
